Thomas Rhett – Die a Happy Man

Man, this song just keeps winning awards – Billboard, CMA ACM, ACC, even nominated for a Grammy -, and rightfully so.  I was hired by producer Dann Huff to touch up the vocals on several sides on this record, but when I heard TR’s delivery on this one, I knew he had killed it and my services would be minimal.  As this huge hit demonstrates, it’s all about the performance……. and a great song of course.  Didn’t he just win ACM Male Vocalist of the Year too?  Just saying…
